Description

If you want to become a court reporter and bring vital information to over 30 million deaf or hard of hearing in the United States alone, the Prince Institute in Westminster, Colorado, may be the place for you.

The academy offers a few programs in court reporting, like:

  • Judicial Reporting

These programs are designed to give you guidance and firsthand experience of a career in court reporting through guest speakers, professional assemblies, placement assistance after graduation, and practice and preparation.

The academy has resources with reporting agencies that seek reporters, captioners, or scopists.

In addition, if you’re feeling confused or experiencing academic difficulties, you can make an appointment with a staff or faculty member at any time.

Admissions are conducted through a brief career consultation meeting with an admissions representative to discuss career and personal goals, after which you’ll tour the campus, explore financial assistance options, and complete the application.

Financial aid is available through federal Pell grants, Stafford loans, and parent loans for eligible undergraduate students.
