If you’re looking for the traditional liberal arts college experience, Elizabethtown College delivers. Like similar schools, Elizabethtown College’s academics focus on developing writing skills, communication, creativity and critical thinking.
However, Elizabethtown’s academics are quite extensive for a school of its size. The college offers over 50 majors and 80 minors leading to a bachelor’s degree. The school has recently begun a master’s degree program in Occupational Therapy, as well.
Over 85% of Elizabethtown College students live on-campus, resulting in vibrant student life. Some of Elizabethtown’s residence halls are living-learning communities, which are based on shared academic interests. The college also features a number of student clubs, organizations and service opportunities.
Elizabethtown’s admissions process is quite comprehensive. In addition to academic achievements, the college considers an applicant’s integrity, work ethic, level of interest, work experience and extracurricular involvement, to name a few. Your academics are a key point of consideration, but more important is how well you’ll fit with the school.
Eligible Elizabethtown College students may receive financial aid. This includes need-based federal financial aid programs as well as institutional merit scholarships. Elizabethtown considers all applicants for merit scholarships as part of the application review.
