Shepherd University offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Degrees are offered in various concentrations under the following disciplines:

• Natural Sciences and Mathematics
• Business and Social Sciences
• Arts and Humanities
• Education and Professional Studies

There are three master’s degrees in education, one in business administration and one in music education. Shepherd University is also open to adults who are not interested in earning a degree, but simply in expanding their knowledge.

Pre-professional studies are offered to students who may seek a graduate degree in specific fields that require prerequisites. Such disciplines include dentistry, medicine, veterinary medicine and so forth. These programs help students earn prerequisites for graduate programs while finishing their bachelor’s degree at Shepherd University.
