Overall

THE SCHOOL IS A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO A BIG COLLEGE. I HAVE RECEIVED A GREAT DEAL OF USEFUL INFORMATION THAT I WILL BE USING IN MY FUTURE CAREER. THE TEACHERS I HAVE HAD HAVE PUT FORTH A GREAT DEAL OF EFFORT IN TEACHING ME VALUABLE INFORMATION. THE CAMPUS IS CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS PROFESSIONAL.

Academics

THE PROFESSORS I HAVE HAD SHOW DEFINIT PASSION FOR THEIR SUBJECTS AND ARE HAPPY TO BE IN THEIR CURRENT POSITIONS OF TEACHING. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL BIOLOGY CLASSES FOR MY CAREER CHOICE AND THEY HAVE BEEN SO INTERESTING I KNOW GREATLY BECAUSE OF THE TEACHERS I HAVE HAD WHO ENCOURGE QUESTIONS AND INTERACTION WITHIN THE CLASS SETTING. CHEMISTRY HAS BEEN THE MOST CHALLENGING CLASS I HAVE TAKEN SO FAR. I DON'T AGREE WITH THE WORK LOAD I HAD IN THIS CLASS. IT WAS FAR MORE THAN NEEDED FOR MY DEGREE AND I HAVE SPOKEN TO SEVERAL NURSES WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LODGIC BEHIND NEEDED TO GO INTO SUCH DEPTH FOR THIS PARTICULAR CLASS.

Campus Facilities & Safety

THE CAMPUS I ATTEND IS THE NORTHWEST CAMPUS IN TUCSON AND IT IS VERY FRIENDLY FROM THE PROFESSORS TO THE OTHER STUDENTS. THE PARKING IS ADAQUATE FOR THE SIZE OF THE CAMPUS. THE COMPUTER LAB THEY OFFER IS A VERY VALUABLE ASSEST TO MY LEARNING SINCE THEY ARE OPEN ALL DAY AND EVEN OF SATURDAYS. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I WOULD HAVE ABOUT THE SCHOOL IS THE FOOD IS NOT EXACTLY THE BEST. JUST LIKE IN OUR NOW A DAY HIGH SCHOOLS THEY SHOULD BE OFFERING BETTER CHOICES FOR US TO PICK FROM AND THE PRICES ARE VERY HIGH FOR IT BEING SUCH LOW QUALITY FOOD. THE BOOK STORE IS ANOTHER PLACE THEY NEED TO LOWER THEIR PRICES OR A BETTER RATE OF RETURN ON BOOKS.

Overall

As far as getting new students who know nothing about college immersed into the college world, this is a great school. There are quite a few online classes and their database of online classes grows more every semester. For the most part, the staff is friendly and very willing to help out. It's a great place to start out - not the best - but they have enough resources and knowledge to get you moving in the right direction no matter how busy you are.

Academics

There are classes of just about every kind here. Anything you want to take, you can bet they have it, from truck driving, to theatre, and your basic reading, writing, math - it's there. Class sizes are generally small, with most having a maximum of 30 students per class - both online and offline. The professors are very helpful for the most part. I've only had one not-so-great professor this year, and if you've taken college courses before, you know that's good.

Campus Facilities & Safety

Parking can be a little crazy, but it's very managable compared to other universitys' parking. The computer lab is great and has just enough space to serve the students it has. I don't believe I've ever seen it overfilled or absolutely empty. It's a very relaxed place for a college, I've heard a lot of my fellow classmates compare it's atmosphere to their high school.
