We prepare people to succeed through quality Career and Technical Education programs and sdrvices.
Canadian Valley Technology Center is a public career and technology education center, which opened in 1970. Three main central Oklahoma campuses serve district patrons. The campuses are located in El Reno, west Oklahoma City and in Chickasha. Canadian Valley is part of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education system. The school offers tuition-free daytime career training to high school students and low-cost tuition for adults. The school also offers daytime and evening career training and short-term continuing education classes for adults (for a fee). Its Business & Industry Services division conducts customized training for area companies. College-prep Biomedical Sciences and Pre-Engineering programs are offered at the district's newest site, the Czech Hall campus (between Yukon and Mustang). Demand for additional training in the nursing fields has prompted the Chickasha campus to offer two sections of Practical Nursing training, which prepares students for careers as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). For more information, call a school counselor at: (405) 262-2629, El Reno and Czech Hall campuses; (405) 224-7220, Chickasha campus.
