Louisiana Technical College is a two-year school dedicated to helping students to begin a career in a technical field. With locations all over Louisiana, there’s a campus waiting for you to start the next phase of your life.

Academics at LTC are tailored to help students earn an associate’s degree, a technical diploma, a technical studies certificate or a technical competency certificate.

After completing the admissions process, all students are required to take the COMPASS placement exam, which tests an individual’s English, reading and math competency.

The admissions process differs depending on program of choice, with some programs allowing for open admissions and other maintaining strict deadlines.

All students are required to pay a non-refundable application fee and a testing fee.

Those looking to enter an Applied Science program, including Barbering, Medical Assisting, Patient Care, and Practical Nursing, must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.

This school provides ample opportunities for students to get involved in college life. The T H Harris Campus encourages students to get involved in volunteer opportunities, competitions and student organizations.

In addition to tuition, students may be required to pay program specific fees.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify through federal and state grants, including the Pell grant and the Academic Competitiveness Grant. .
