Description

At First Coast Technical College, culinary students cook gourmet meals that fellow students may enjoy. Its massage therapy and cosmetology students give free massages and facials.

Those studying early childhood education provide other students with free daycare. This is First Coast Tech’s creative way of allowing students to showcase and hone their skills while offering free community services to fellow students.

Located in St. Augustine, Florida, First Coast Technical College offers programs to the Jacksonville community in an array of fields related to the health, beauty, automotive and technical sciences.

Community services are not the only program enhancements at First Coast Tech. Students might also benefit from internships, free career assessment, tutoring and even money for good grades.

The programs offered by First Coast Tech are for people of all ages. Career Navigators, for example, is a program for those aged 16 to 21 who have withdrawn from high school and would like vocational training.

There are also programs for those who are over age 21 and for those who already have a high school diploma.

A variety of financial aid options are available for eligible students. These include grants for children of veterans, The Bright Minds scholarship, work-study programs and loans.
