"Evangelical Theological Seminary is an interdenominational seminary established in 1953 and accredited by Middle States and the Association of Theological Schools. The mission of Evangelical is to develop student leaders for effective ministry in a broken and complex world by nurturing rigorous minds, compassionate hearts, and Christ-centered actions.
Evangelical offers a strong academic foundation in a supportive environment with faculty who are readily available and concerned for their student's academic success and spiritual development. The student to faculty ratio is approximately 10:1. Financial aid, including the William Randolph Hearst Presidential Scholarship, is available for recent college graduates who qualify. Thirteen degrees and five certificates are offered. The twelve-acre campus dates back to the Civil War and features stately Christ Hall, which recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation. Other campus features include: on-campus housing; the Pense Archaeological Museum; a physical-fitness room; and the recently renovated Rostad Library.
