CMI Description
In addition to offering comprehensive community college programs, The College of the Marshall Islands is always expanding to offer more classroom and professional opportunities.
Located in Majuro, in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, CMI has standard associate’s degrees designed for four-year transfer or vocational preparation. Programs of study include:
- Business Administration
- Education
- Liberal Arts
- Marine Science Conservation
- Techonlogy
As part of its constant expansion, CMI has, in recent years, developed a transfer and counseling center to help students who either wish to seek professional employment or go to a four-year school after graduating.
CMI has been in the process of instituting bachelor’s degree programs as well. Distance education courses are also part of CMI’s recent expansion and growth.
CMI is an open-enrollment institution, which means that virtually anyone may register for classes.
Financial aid is awarded through need-based federal aid programs like Pell grants and loans. Scholarships are also available.
