If you are looking to become a skilled worker then Tidewater Tech Trades may provide you with the education you need to succeed in the workforce. Our goal is ensure student success and mastery of skills you will train for, and instill a positive outlook in your working potential for your chosen trade. We respond to employer’s needs so the skills you learn today will be relevant to the trade you are interested in working, now and in the future.

Our vocational school approvals and memberships include, State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), Virginia Committee on Veterans’ Education, eligible trade school for Federal Family Education Loan Programs and Pell Grant through the Department of Education, Workforce Investment Act (WIA), National Automotive Technician Education Foundation, Virginia State Department of Police, Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS), ESCO Institute and Hampton Roads Auto Body Association.

We offer a curriculum that is designed to provide students with a solid foundation by starting with general education courses and combining them with industry-specific classes. We constantly consult with healthcare, airline, industry, and business leaders to construct our programs with the skills and technology taught that employers demand. In order to encourage the personal and professional growth of our students, class sizes are kept small. This allows dynamic discussion within the class and individual attention from our school's experienced instructors.
