Description
Platt College has campuses throughout Oklahoma, each one offering different areas of study. At the Lawton, Oklahoma campus, programs of study are offered in high-demand medical fields.
In addition to getting this practical career training, Platt Lawton students also receive extensive one-on-one support and counseling, both while in school and even after they graduate.
Programs of study at the Lawton campus include:
- Dental Assisting
- Pharmacy Technology
- Massage Therapy
While pursuing their diploma in one of these fields, students get the opportunity to gain real-world experience through externships as well. Platt students also get the support of Platt College staff and counselors, who help them to come up with career goals and ways of achieving them while also providing lifetime career-placement.
Most Platt College programs only require a high school diploma or GED as well as a commitment to one’s career path. Certain programs may have additional admissions requirements, such as a passing grade on an entrance exam.
Those attending programs that do not require an entrance exam need only fill out an application and have an interview with a Platt College admissions representative.
Financial aid is available to any student who is enrolled at least part time and demonstrates a strong financial need. Need-based aid includes Stafford and PLUS loans, Pell grants and SEOG grants. A FAFSA, which may be submitted online, is required for aid consideration.
