Description

South Central Career Center in West Plains, Missouri has programs for everyone regardless of age or education.

An open-admissions public training school, South Central Career Center offers career training programs for adults in Agriculture, Allied Health, Automotive Technology, Creative Design, Culinary Arts, Masonry, Welding and other professions. Students who go through South Central’s career program are also eligible to transfer to Missouri State University or Three Rivers Community College.

Programs are also offered for high school students who would like to begin exploring a profession while starting on their post-secondary studies.

Other learning options include GED-prep and Basic Skills courses as well as online and non-credit community education classes.

All South Central Career Center students may benefit from academic and career counseling and advising as well as from the student life activities available for recreational, social and professional purposes.

Financial aid counselors will also meet with interested students to help evaluate their eligibility for grants or loans.
