Description

Providing highly personalized career training, professional work opportunities and extracurricular involvement, Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School in Fall River, Massachusetts, offers high school students the chance to succeed.

Since Diman is a public high school, all students are given an academic foundation, taking courses in English, Science, Social Studies and Math.

Students receive close attention from instructors in all of their classes, whether getting vocational training in Auto Mechanics, Culinary Arts, Dental Assisting, Graphic Communications or another field offered at Diman.

Diman’s co-operative work program is another highlight of the school. In the co-op program, students work at jobs in their field under the supervision of faculty.

Diman also has a job-placement service for students who wish to move directly from Diman into a career.

Extracurricular activities are multi-faceted. Recreational clubs such as the chess, photography or theatre clubs provide an opportunity for creative expression.

Other student organizations, such as the Honors Society or Skills USA group, offer chances for students to advance academically and even compete nationally in skills competitions, which may result in scholarship awards.
