A good campus is made of more than just classrooms. That’s why STI has adult education programs, a bookstore, library, transfer center, child care, professional counseling, and tutoring. There are also job placement services where specialists work their hardest to help students find full-time or part-time employment.

STI offers Associate in Applied Science degrees (AAS) as well as diplomas and certificates. AAS degrees generally take 24 months or less to complete, and diplomas and certificates typically take one year or less. STI is one of South Dakota's most affordable post-secondary institutions and turns out the third largest higher education graduating class in the state. STI is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
