Beacon University to Become Beacon Seminary

Beacon University is repositioning itself to focus on its efforts on fulfilling the original vision of its founder, Dr. Ron Cottle, which is to recognize, raise-up, resource, and release Christian leaders to serve in the church and other ministry vocations, including military chaplaincy and Christian education. Later on this year Beacon will change its name to "Beacon Seminary" to better reflect this core mission.

Beacon will continue to be thoroughly interdenominational and intentionally diverse. Our desire is to educate and equip men and women from every denominational and ethnic background to be leaders on the cutting-edge of effective church ministry and community service in the postmodern world.

Our core programs are the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry. This summer Beacon will launch an exciting brand new one-year undergraduate Diploma in Biblical Studies, thus enabling the institution to offer relevant, cutting-edge education and training to all 21st century clergy, lay leaders and ministers, and church members.

Beacon is a fully authorized and accredited institution offering its programs both on-campus and on-line. Federal Student Financial Aid and Veterans education benefits are available for eligible students.
