Description
High school students and working adults wishing to learn new skills or enhance old ones may get the training they’re looking for at Kiamichi Technology Center.
Kiamichi is made up of a web of campuses throughout Oklahoma. At the McAlester, Oklahoma campus, training is offered in Automotive Service Technology, Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, Practical Nursing and other in-demand technical, medical and industrial careers.
Classes in these fields are offered both in the evening and the daytime to make these programs available to working adults who are looking to switch to a new career or improve upon an old one. Some Kiamichi courses even have weekend classes.
These programs are also designed for high school students who, while training for one of these valuable careers, may get a certain amount of college credit and even free tuition.
Additional financial aid programs for adult students include state and federal grants and loans.
If you’re interested in attending Kiamichi, either in McAlester or another location, contact a school representative for information on how to get started with enrollment.
