We are committed to providing our students with quality education experiences in cosmetology and related areas to enhance economic improvement of the individual. To accomplish this mission, the College seeks to fulfill the following objectives: (1)To prepare students for licensures, certification and/or employment in cosmetology art and sciences related areas, (2) To prepare students for leadership in various areas of the beauty industry, (3) To expose students to relevant field experiences designed to meet their needs for employment and the public's need for professional services, and (4) To prepare students with a career that can be used to supplement their income.We offer a program that prepares cosmetologists, barbers, stylists, nail technicians, and other grooming specialists to teach their specializations in licensed and accredited schools of cosmetology and barbering, and to prepare for licensure as instructors. Includes instruction in cosmetology arts and sciences teaching principles; student learning styles; professional curricula development; instructional planning; instructional methods and aids; student counseling and career assistance; test development; and classroom/clinic management.
The school meets all requirements necessary for providing high quality education in the barbering and cosmetology hair styling profession. The modern facility was renovated during 1985 and remodeled March 2008. It contains floor space to accommodate students enrolled in the barber class and students enrolled in the cosmetology class. A practical classroom is equipped with modern working stations. It is open to the public, allowing students to gain actual experience in services offered in the beauty profession.
