MC Description

Located in Central California, two hours south of Sacramento, Merced College offers students a chance to earn credits to transfer and provides vocational training tracks for those interested in moving into the job market.

Associate’s degrees and transferable credits are available for those interested in furthering their academic career. Merced College is a public institution, and so offers a clear track for students to transfer to the nearby University of California, Merced.

Occupation-specific certificates can be earned through a course regimen designed to prepare students for the workforce. One thing I like the most about Merced College is that it is not expensive like the other universities, so it is easier for those who have low income and cannot attend a university. My most memorable experience was during many chorus performances, music has not been any funner since that class. I felt like I belonged and music just brought out the peaceful and kind soul out of me.
