Feather River Community College, located in the picturesque, rural area of Quincy, California, offers standard professional and academic degrees as well as unique and specialized programs and services.

Associate’s degrees in the arts and sciences are awarded to those who wish to transfer to a four-year university, while those who are looking to quickly launch a new career, may enroll in one of Feather River’s certificate programs. Certificates are awarded in such disciplines as:

  • Agriculture
  • Culinary Arts
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Vocational Nursing

In addition to these areas of study, Feather River offers unique programs in highly specialized fields such as Equine Studies or Outdoor Recreation Leadership.

Feather River also has unique, specialized services. In addition to standard academic counseling and career development, Feather River also has the Workability program designed for those with disabilities, and the SIFE program for those who want to pursue careers in business.

Admissions are open to anyone who has a high school diploma or GED.

Financial aid programs include federal loans and state and federal grant programs. Board of Governor fee waivers are also available to California state residents who have substantial financial need.
