Description

Morgantown Beauty College in Morgantown, West Virginia, provides a disciplined yet flexible program for future salon professionals of all backgrounds.

Morgantown’s programs include:

  • Cosmetology
  • Esthetics
  • Massage Therapy
  • Nail Technology

There is also a program for barbers who wish to transition into the cosmetology industry. Those applying to any of the other programs need only have a high school diploma or GED and proof of citizenship.

All students get the benefit of working a certain number of hours in the school salon, offering hair, nail and skincare services to the public.

Since Morgantown believes in fostering discipline, students are required to wear the designated Morgantown uniform at all times.

However, Morgantown is also flexible when it comes to scheduling, offering daytime and evening classes to accommodate all students.

Financial aid is awarded to students who attend at least 25 hours per week and have a demonstrated financial need. Aid sources include loans and grants. Assistance is also available for veterans and through WIA and Rehabilitation Services.

After submitting an application, with proof of a diploma or GED and identification, students submit a refundable deposit and then attend an orientation. Applications are accepted up until one week before each new session of classes begins.
