Description

The founding premise of Lakeside School of Massage Therapy was to offer a didactic program grounded in the Western health care delivery system, including anatomy and physiology, overlaid with concepts of personal responsibility and holistic practices. Continuing evolution of the school focuses on the ever-changing expectations of massage therapy practitioners and enhancing the educational program to reflect the body of knowledge of massage therapy practices as well as the ethical guidelines expressed by the American Massage Therapy Association. As part of the ongoing evolution of the school, Lakeside has participated successfully in peer reviewed evaluation processes of accreditation at each location.
