Description
Centenary College is an independent, accredited college located in northwestern New Jersey. Founded from a Methodist background, the school offers an ecumenical campus environment. The campus ministry program was created to include students of all religious backgrounds.
Centenary College offers associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and education certification programs. In addition, the school offers students professional and personal development opportunities through non-degree courses.
The school offers traditional on-campus classes as well as accelerated and online courses. Centenary College also has a well-respected equestrian center available for students interested in the Equine Studies program.
On-campus housing is available. Students interested in living on campus apply for housing annually and rooms are granted based on factors such as total credits completed and GPA. In cases of a tie, the room is typically awarded to the earliest applicant.
The school has various clubs and student organizations to choose from. In addition, Centenary College holds various events and programs for students on campus and also expects students to participate in community service to get involved and support the local community. Residents and non-residents pay the same tuition and fees, and normal residency fees are separate.
