Description

Are you looking for a postsecondary school with a concentration in Judaic studies? The higher learning division at the Associated Beth Rivkah Schools is a teacher-training institute that offers three distinct certification programs in Jewish studies.

Located in Brooklyn, New York, the school is one of the few Jewish teacher-training institutions in North America. The Division of Higher Learning (DHL) received the unique recognition of “highly specialized institution” by the State of New Yorks Department of Education in 1995. In addition, the school is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training.

The Associated Beth Rivkah Schools offers an Advanced Jewish Learning Certificate, which is a two-year program, and also two one year programs: Overview of Jewish Studies Certificate, and Applied Hebraic and Judaic Studies Certificate.

The DHL now offers some evening courses, allowing students greater flexibility in managing their studies along with other aspects of their life. Graduation requirements include a minimum 2.0 GPA and meeting established attendance requirements.

The DHL at Associated Beth Rivkah Schools has a commitment to make Jewish education available to all Jewish students and has assumed a leading role in guaranteeing this right to all Jewish girls, without discrimination based on their background or where they were born or raised.
