Description

As part of the Poplar Bluff public school system on Oak Grove Road in Missouri, Poplar Bluff Technical Career Center is the school to attend if you want to prepare for a career in very little time at all.

In one to two years you can train in career programs of study such as Auto Collision Repair, Computer Maintenance Repair, Computer Graphics and Print Technology, Building Trades, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Health Occupations, Cosmetology, and Licensed Practical Nursing.

Standardized aptitude testing is required for certain programs, such as the nursing program. Applications for the fall are due in the spring.

PBTCC has the facilities to perfectly train students for their chosen career with hands-on experience. For instance, the Culinary Arts major has a restaurant that it operates using the program’s students. Cosmetology students help run a full-service salon.

If you need help paying for tuition and other educational expenses, fill out the FAFSA to see if you qualify for loans, grants, and work-study.
