CCA Description

An Arts degree is as valuable in today’s economy as it ever has been. More and more companies in all fields of business are looking for creative talent to help find new ways of growing and developing their business.

The community of artists at the California College of the Arts (CCA) doesn’t stop at sharing their thoughts and ideas with students. They also participate in the exchange of ideas and knowledge globally to learn cutting-edge techniques and trends from other cultures.

CCA offers over two dozen undergraduate and graduate degree programs as well as public youth and adult programs designed to assist with academic and professional advancement. There are courses available for all types of art, from animation and illustration to fashion to film and photography.

The admissions department utilizes a rolling admissions practice, so they are constantly reviewing applications to determine eligibility. Although students are encouraged to apply early, eligible students may be accepted to start classes after the deadline.

There are several options for financial aid available for eligible students. Students at California College of the Arts are expected to apply for federal and state aid, such as scholarships, grants and loans. In addition, CCA may offer scholarships to eligible students.
