WNCC was previously known as Scottsbluff Junior College. Its alumni include Pro Football Hall of Famer Dick "Night Train" Lane and NBA players Bobby Jackson and Sedric Toney.
WNCC also has two other branches in Sidney and Alliance Nebraska.
