Overall
Overall I think UCO is an awesome school. It is my first semester here and I have felt really welcome. Anyone I have contacted has helped me in any way they could. If they could not assist me, they would find someone that could.
Academics
The workload is about what a student should expect. The classes are usually 30 plus students but the teacher's are great. Honestly, for it being such a big school, the teacher's make you feel like you are the only one.
College Life
There are many different clubs and organizations to get involved with. All of which are very accepting. When I first arrived at UCO they had a big fair to show off all the different organizations. Basically they had anything that you could think of. It was a very diverse group.

Overall
I did not enjoy my time at the University of Central Oklahoma. I chose UCO because it was one of two colleges in Oklahoma that offered a Bachelor's Degree in Photography. The alternative school was too expensive. I transferred to UCO as a Junior and found that living on campus with Freshmen and Sophomores was not a good fit. I also lived on campus my Senior year and was very homesick. It was hard to make friends because most people commuted to and from school and did not hang around campus after class. I think this college would be better suited to people from the Oklahoma City area or small towns. Having grown up on the other side of the state, this school was not a good choice for me.
Academics
I enjoyed most of my photography classes. However, there were a few classes that were irrelevant. The counselor was NOT helpful in scheduling my classes. She said that it would take me until Spring 2013 to graduate even though I transferred to UCO with 95 credit hours already completed! By taking matters into my own hands, I was able to graduate in Spring 2012.
College Life
As I previously stated, UCO is primarily a commuter school. This made it hard to make friends as most people would drive home immediately after class. I found the students who lived on campus (mostly freshman and sophomores) to be very immature.
