I'm actually in the school library right now. What good and bad have you heard??? I'm really curious. My take: It's a big school, yet you see the same faces alot, which is good. It is not an easy school academically, they are accepting pretty much everyone right now because tuition spiked, and enrollment is down. It is like 60% female, which is awsome, however as a 25 year old transfer student, I am finding it impossible to meet people, I'd even go as far as saying I've never been more bored in my life. I have to fix this. It seems everyone here knew someone going into this, and I'm one of the few out of state students. Not a great school for frat parties, I've seen others that blow this place away. However, it has an awsome block or two of bars, and the bar scene here is as good as any. As I said, very hard to meet people it seems, and I think the University even knows this, as they force the idea of joining a club or a frat/sorority down your throat. If I wasn't already feeling so old I'd join a frat just to meet people. Overall it has potential I need to cash in on, and I do recommend it.

They do not offer an associates degree, although if you only want to do 2 years you can pursue your RN diploma at a community college, then transfer to BGSU for your bachelors. Its reputation is excellent. It has been around since about 1910. It has a reputation as one of the top universities in the country, academically. Orginally, it was best known for teacher training, but it has grown to include many other fields. Bowling Green State University caught my interest and I was wondering what others thought about it. My college right now has 5000 students with half of them as commuters. Would transferring be a drastic change? 23 months ago Emily B Best Answer i've only visited bowling green a few times, but i believe you'd have an easier time transfering there than most colleges. the campus is small (it takes about fifteen to twenty min. to walk across it) and it's really nice from what i saw. although it has 20,000+ people, it has a very small feel for it and i never would have guessed there were that many people there. from what i've heard, they also love transfer students and it tends to be cheaper than what regular tuition usually is. idk many details about transfering since i'm only in high school and planning on going there for college, but i think it would be a good choice if you're looking for a college w/ a smaller feel.
