Washington County Career Center in Marietta, Ohio, offers adult education programs for individuals and businesses.
Washington County Career Center’s certification programs prepare students for medical, industrial and technological careers.
Individual majors include:
- Building Construction Technology
- Medical Assisting
- Microsoft Office Technology
- Phlebotomy Technology
The school also offers training to local companies. These classes train employees in everything from workplace safety, to proper use of computer programs.
WCCC participates in federal financial aid programs such as Pell grants and loans. To qualify for financial aid, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. The main criterion for eligibility is an applicant’s financial need. Washington County Career Center also offers benefits through the veteran’s administration and the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation.
