Description
Illinois Welding School offers four engaging, hands-on training programs to help students find careers in the welding industry. Located in Peoria, Illinois, Illinois Welding School grants diplomas in production welding, structural welding, pipe welding and a combination of these.
Most of a student’s study time is spent working hands-on in the school’s welding facility. Instructors, too, use a hands-on approach in working with students.
Illinois Welding School’s classroom curriculum is engaging and enjoyable, as students learn through a combination of methods including slide-shows and videos.
Graduates of Illinois Welding School are eligible for job placement and career services such as instruction in resume writing and interviewing skills. There are also refresher courses available for those who already work in the field but want to brush up on their welding skills.
Financial aid options for eligible students include military benefits, loans, grants, scholarships and payment plans. All books, materials and equipment are provided free of charge.
