The Delaware Technical & Community College is a statewide institution of higher education providing academic, technical, and corporate and community training opportunities to every resident of Delaware. The college is fully accredited and provides an open door, comprehensive program of education and training beyond high school. Over 100 degree, diploma, and certificate programs are offered in a variety of technical areas. Other offerings include GED certificates, workforce training for adults, industrial training for upgrading employee skills and youth programs. The college also offers various distance learning opportunities including telecourses, online courses, and interactive classroom courses.

Students can choose to work towards an associate's degree, diploma, certificate, credits for transfer, or personal enrichment or professional development.

Delaware Technical & Community College, the First State’s only community college, promises access, opportunity, excellence and hope to each student who enters its doors. Delaware Tech offers academic, technical, continuing education, corporate and community training opportunities in more than 100 associate degree, diploma and certificate programs. Courses are offered in fields ranging from engineering technology, business and computer information systems to nursing, allied health, biotechnology, education, culinary arts, human services and language and culture.

Delaware Technical & Community College (DTCC or Delaware Tech) is the community college system in the state of Delaware with locations in four cities. It was created by the Delaware General Assembly in 1966 by House Bill 529. The college is fully accredited and several curricula have been accredited by various professional associations. The college currently offers over 120 programs leading towards associate degrees, diplomas, or certificates. Of these programs, 48 are accredited degree programs with articulation agreements with 61 other institutions of higher learning. In the 2004-2005 school year, there were 19,462 students enrolled in accredited classes and 24,851 students attending non-credit courses. The component campuses are the Jack F. Owens Campus (or simply 'Owens Campus') in Georgetown, Delaware; the Stanton Campus in Newark; the Charles L. Terry Campus (or simply 'Terry Campus') in Dover; and the Wilmington Campus in Wilmington.
