Description
Bethany College was founded by Swedish immigrants over 130 years ago. Like the city of Lindsborg in which Bethany is located, the college recognizes its cultural heritage. Student life at Bethany might include cheering on the Swedes at athletic events or attending school-sponsored events like Swedestock.
Bethany offers a large variety of academics for a school of its size. Over 35 areas of study are available, including vocational programs like Criminal Justice. The curricula for all of these programs, even the professionally oriented ones, are grounded in the liberal arts.
Over 98% of Bethany College students receive financial aid. Federal grants and loans are the main source of financial assistance, but the college also funds several institutional scholarships. To meet the priority deadline for these awards and to be eligible for federal financial aid, file a FAFSA by March 1st.
The first step in applying to Bethany College is to fill out the online application. The school also recommends visiting campus and meeting with an admissions officer, but neither of these steps are required. You can also submit the online inquiry form to get in touch with an admissions officer.
