School Description
Provided by Remington College- Little Rock CampusHello from all of us at Remington College - Little Rock Campus. Originally founded in 1998, we moved to our beautiful facility located at 19 Remington Drive in October 2003. Our campus is in the heart of Arkansas and provides quick access from four major highways, allowing us to better serve all of central Arkansas.
At Remington College we believe that each individual should work in the profession of their choice. The staff and faculty at the Little Rock campus are committed to their students. We stand ready and strive each day to help students achieve their personal goals for career success.
Community involvement is an important component of the mission of Remington College - Little Rock Campus. We are a Partner in Education with the Metropolitan Career Technical Center, and we participate in the American Red Cross blood drive on a semi-annual basis. The National Technical Honor Society at the campus conducts a fundraiser each year to assist a local shelter for battered women and the homeless. Remington College donates classroom space in the afternoons and on Fridays for teachers from the Pulaski County Adult Education Division to provide literacy and math skills training for those seeking their General Equivalency Degree (""GED"").
In an effort to gain input from the employing community, local business persons serve on our Program Advisory Committee (""PAC""), which provides a vital link to ensuring and strengthening the programs at our campus. PAC members not only provide valuable input relative to our curriculum, but they also serve as speakers in the classroom. This gives our students insight to the practical application of their education as it relates to the business world. In addition to providing a connection with potential employers, it also helps validate and promote academics. Many employers utilize our facilities for recruiting purposes throughout the year. This, too, allows local business partners to become more familiar with our students, instructors, and administration. Combined with other activities, this helps keep the campus involved in the community and stay in tune with area employers.
