Question: Question about community college?I'm going to enroll for summer classes at Mesa Community College next week and I have a question.. Basically I know a Associates degree is two years of community college, and eventually my goal is to go to a University after I get my associates. Okay, so I'm wondering if I start this summer, then do the normal school year, and then next summer, will that count as my 4 semesters, or two years and get me my associates a year early?10 months ago
Best AnswerIt depends on how many classes you take over the summer. If you take five or six classes over the summer it would count as a semester. Taking summer classes can off a semester or two of CC. |
Question: Mesa Community College? What all does the Red Mountain campus here in Mesa, az have to offer? I'm wanting to go there, since i really don't like the Dobson one, and also it's much closer to my home. or is there any other Community Colleges East of MCC?36 months ago
Best AnswerYou can check out Chandler Community College. Other than that, MCC is the fathest East. Usually, Red Mountain offers most of the classes that the main campus offers. If you get a general catalog for the college it will give you more information. In their class schedule they will also list which courses will be available at the Red Mountain campus. Just keep in mind that you may need to go to the Dobson campus for some of your lab courses, since the Red Mountain campus doesn't have a lab facility...at least they didn't when I was there. :-) |
