Description
Nurses are in high demand, but in order to take advantage of the many career opportunities in West Virginia, you have to get the proper education first. That’s where B.M. Spurr School of Practical Nursing comes in. Part of Reynolds Memorial Hospital, B.M. Spurr provides the academics necessary to take the State Licensed Practical Nursing Exam.
The Practical Nursing program at B.M. Spurr features an experienced, professional faculty and access to Reynolds Memorial Hospital’s facilities. This is essential for nursing training, as it gives you the opportunity to work with real patients, and to learn how to use the equipment you’ll use in your future career.
The application to B.M. Spurr School of Practical Nursing is available online. The school’s admissions requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a $20 application fee and three letters of recommendation.
For more information on B.M. Spurr, contact Carol Storm, the School Director, at (304) 843-3255. The office is open from 7am to 3pm on Monday through Friday.
