The mission of Pontotoc Technology Center is simple "Training to Succeed".
Whether you are preparing to enter the workforce for the first time, making a career change, honing skills for a position you already hold or are looking to expand your knowledge and horizons. Pontotoc Technology Center in Ada, Oklahoma has something to offer you. For secondary students and adults, we offer day and evening classes -- both short-term and long-term -- to provide the training you need to start your career off right, or advance in your current field. Our school is a part of Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education (ODCTE) and is North Central Accredited.
The premise behind the CareerTech system is providing education and training programs that meet the specific and unique needs of local citizens and economies. This is accomplished through support and input from local students, parents, advisory committees, and citizens.
Because we recognize the important role you play in our success, we want you to feel well informed about the programs we offer. We also want you to feel assured that we are accountable for the resources you provide.
Job placement services are available on campus to help you find employment upon completion of your training program. Services provided may include assistance with job search skills, resume writing, interview techniques, continuous job development, interview scheduling and career portfolios.
