UI&U Description

Though known primarily for its outstanding distance learning programs, Union Institute & University has a few physical locations. Its main campus is in Cincinnati, and is home to a number of bachelor’s and doctoral degree programs, as well as the university’s Office of Financial Aid.

Union Institute & University in Cincinnati’s academics are largely career-oriented. Some of the undergraduate majors offered include Business Administration, Criminal Justice Management and Emergency Services Management. The campus also confers the following doctoral degrees:

  • Interdisciplinary Studies (PhD)
  • Clinical Psychology (PsyD)
  • Doctor of Education (EdD)

Admissions requirements for the bachelor’s degree programs are simple. To apply, you must have a high school diploma or GED. The doctoral programs have additional admissions requirements. Contact the department you’re interested in for more information.

Federal and state grants are the main source of financial aid at Union Institute & University. Federal loans and work-study are also available if you need additional tuition relief, and the university offers scholarships both for undergraduate and doctoral students.
