Description

In addition to a number of associate degree programs, Brazosport College is now offering a bachelor’s degree program that prepares students for a variety of career opportunities.

Students at Brazosport, located in Lake Jackson, Texas, may undertake an associate’s degree in various disciplines, primarily in vocational areas such as carpentry, emergency medical services and nursing.

There are also associate’s programs designed for transfer to a four-year school. Brazosport is going a step further in offering a bachelor’s degree program in Applied Technology for the same two-year college cost. This program prepares students for a variety of supervisory positions in such areas as human resources and technology.

Brazosport’s bachelor’s program uses a hands-on approach to learning, enlisting its students in internship positions where they may incorporate and expand upon what they’ve learned.

Counseling and advising on career, transfer and academic matters are part of what Brazosport offers all of its students.

Financial aid options for eligible students include the SHINE scholarship, as well as other scholarships, work-study and student loans.
