Description

Many vocational institutes offer truck driving courses, but HDS Truck Driving Institute is one of the few that focuses exclusively on career driving.

The school has held itself to a high standard of excellence for more than 20 years, preparing its students for the Commercial Driver License (CDL) exam and beyond.

HDS Truck Driving Institute’s academics currently include these programs:

*Professional Truck Driver (730 hours)
*CDL Training (160 hours)
*CDL Driver Training (80 hours)

Because of truck driving regulations, admissions requirements differ from a standard career school. In addition to holding a high school diploma or GED, you must have an Arizona driver’s license and pass the Department of Transportation’s physical requirements. If you’re applying for an interstate license program, you must be 21 years old. For licensing in Arizona, you need only be 18 years of age.

Need-based financial aid is available to eligible students. Some students may also qualify for pre-hires, which can result in a substantial tuition reimbursement.
