GCC Description

At the heart of Grove City College’s curriculum and student life activities is a commitment to Christianity and the teachings of the Bible. A small college that is priced as affordably as possible, Grove City College is dedicated to offering those of all economic backgrounds undergraduate academics that value the teachings of Christ above all.

Located in Grove City, Pennsylvania, Grove City College grants bachelor’s degrees in a combination of subjects including:

  • Biblical and Religious studies
  • Business
  • Education
  • Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • English
  • Performing Arts
  • Psychology

Students may also undertake dual degrees, combining such subjects as Music and Religion.

In addition to studying all subjects from a Christian perspective, students at Grove City participate in extracurricular religious activities like:

  • Campus ministry
  • Chapel services
  • Community Service
  • Mission work

More than 100 academic, creative arts, recreational and special interest clubs are also part of the Grove City College student life experience.

Admissions to Grove City are dependent on evaluation of one’s transcripts, ACT or SAT scores, two essays and a pastoral and academic reference. Applicants must submit all of these materials with an application and an application fee. An interview is strongly suggested as well.

While tuition costs are kept as low as possible, students who require partial or full financial aid may apply for need-based aid awards like state and federal grants, work-study opportunities and student loans. Those with a strong academic record may also apply for academic scholarships.

Additionally, Grove City supplies information about outside scholarships for those who still require assistance or are not eligible for other forms of assistance.
