Penn State Description

One of Penn State’s smaller campuses, PSU Brandywine offers an intimate learning environment with access to the resources of a major research institution.

With a small student-to-faculty ratio, Pennsylvania State University at Brandywine provides individualized instruction and personal student-teacher relationships.

Penn State Brandywine’s academics include more than a dozen programs of study, with both associate’s and bachelor’s degrees. However, if you’d rather transfer to PSU’s main campus at University Park, you can begin your bachelor’s degree at Brandywine and transfer your credits.

The school’s financial aid office provides several opportunities to help fund your education. In addition to federal loans and grants, you can apply for several institutional scholarships. These awards are based on academic achievement, athletics, need, or performance in a specific field.

While it does not have any residence halls, Penn State Brandywine maintains a vibrant student life. Nearly 20 student organizations are registered on campus, so there are plenty of ways to get involved. Additionally, the Lion’s Pit cafeteria offers breakfast, lunch and dinner five days a week.
