The mission of the Waynesville School District, in partnership with the communities of Waynesville/St.Robert/Fort Leonard Wood and surrounding areas, is to provide all students with the opportunities, the resources, and the guidance to develop the following skills to help them live as productive, responsible, self-sufficient citizens in a global society:

WAYNESVILLE TECHNICAL ACADEMY PROVIDES A QUALITY TECHNICAL EDUCATION TO A STUDENT POPULATION THAT IS A REFLECTION OF SMALL-TOWN USA COMBINED WITH THE WORLD VIEW OF A MILITARY BASE PRESENCE. OUR STAFF PROVIDES A STUDENT-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT WHICH USES STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT, ADVANCED TEACHING STRATEGIES BASED ON REALISTIC PRACTICAL WORK EXPERIENCES, PERSONALIZED INDIVIDUAL ATENTION TO STUDENTS' DIVERSE NEEDS IN ORDER TO PREPARE THEM TO ENTER DIRECTLY INTO THE WORKFORCE AS A QUALITY EMPLOYEE OR TO TRANSITION INTO ADVANCED TRAINING PROGRAMS OR HIGHER EDUCATION LEVELS WITH THE SKILLS AND PERSONAL CONFINDENCE TO BECOME VALUABLE, PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS IN AN EVER-CHANGING WORLD.

WCC is now open in it's new state-of-the-art facility located next the the Waynesville High School. Every classroom is equipped with a smartboard, projector, and instructor computer.

Teachers have access to airliner slates, clickers, and SmartBoards to enhance instruction.

Teachers and students have access to the online library at Opens external link in new windowNetlibrary. NetLibrary provides access to Waynesville Career Center's library eContent collection. eContent is the digital version of books, journals, and database content. You can access your library’s eContent 24 hours a days, seven days a week.
