Apex has a simple mission: we offer quality hands-on training that provides you with marketable skills for employment after graduation.
Apex offers the foundation to a technical career - right down to the set of industry-standard professional tools you'll receive from us upon graduation. After graduation you make seek placement assistance from the Office of Job Placement in finding a job in your field of study.
We offer a choice of six certificate courses which may be completed in as few as 7 months: Automotive Technician Program, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Appliance and Controls, Auto Body Repair, Electrical and Advanced Electrical, Combination Welding Technology or Construction Skills: Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical. Each are designed to get you into your field of choice in the least amount of time.
Apex programs are a blend of instructors, classes and equipment. Instructors bring the benefit of first-hand experience and unique personalities to a school that has provided over 15,000 skilled graduates since our founding in 1961.
Apex's comprehensive curriculum cover each aspect of the course and are complemented by the use of operational equipment typically found in the field. The average class size is about 17 students. Taught in manageable "course segments," classes combine hands-on training and textbook theory to provide the most comprehensive education possible.
We offer a variety of day and evening classes with new classes starting every month, so now is always a perfect time to enroll.
Located in the heart of New York City, Apex Tech operates an eight story training facility. Working side by side with real-world instructors in fully equipped shops, using the tools of the trade you will learn the skills needed in the field. With nearly 40 years of training experience and over 15,000 graduates Apex has what it takes to put you on the right track.
We're in the middle of a great neighborhood known for shopping, eating and beautifully renovated architecture.
The building is handicap accessible through the elevators on West 19th Street. All shops and most classrooms are handicap accessible and handicap accessible bathrooms are located on the first floor and basement.
Because our focus is on your training, Apex does not offer student activities.
