Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, is a small private school where students engage in academics with accomplished faculty members and get the experience of small classes, an active student life and additional special programs.

Programs of study encompass the liberal, fine and performing arts, humanities, sciences and a few professional degrees such as those in Business Administration and Education. Pre-professional programs for aspiring Law or Engineering students are also available.

On Ripon College’s scenic and collegiate campus, students may also get involved with honors societies, student publications, the student-run radio station and arts-oriented, recreational and special-interest student organizations.

Ripon also provides off-campus opportunities for students including study abroad programs in Europe and South America.

Admissions requirements include completion of college prep courses, submission of an essay, transcripts, a recommendation letter and ACT or SAT scores. Applicants must also interview with a Ripon representative. The average grade point average of entering freshmen is 3.4, the average SAT score is 1149 and the average ACT score is 24.

Students who receive financial aid usually do so from various sources including need-based federal grants, Direct and Perkins loans and work study awards. A certain number of academic scholarships are also granted each year. These are usually awarded based on grade point average or SAT or ACT scores.
