Designed especially for students who face economic and other challenges Focus Hope’s Machinist Training Institute provides career training and job-placement assistance. Focus Hope also offers services to support students in just about every area of their life.

Located in Detroit, Michigan, the Machinist Training Institute prepares its students to work in various careers including Automotive Technology, Machine Programming, CNC Programming and Computer Machine Technology.

In addition to this professional program, students may take advantage of academic skills courses in Math, Reading and Writing. All of these classes are offered on a fast-track basis so that students may learn these subjects in a matter of a couple of months.

In addition to job-placement assistance, students have access to a range of other services. These include workshops in money management and other life skills, access to daycare, and scholarships and other forms of financial aid for those who qualify. The school will even help to meet student’s basic needs, for example by providing clothing.

Students interested in attending Focus Hope need only have a GED or high school diploma.
