Description
Pima Medical Institute offers career and workforce training for some of today’s most in-demand medical careers, but also provides less commonly offered medical training programs as well.
Located in Denver, Colorado, Pima also has campuses in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Seattle and several other locations.
At Denver’s Pima campus, you can receive training in such fields as medical assisting, physical therapy assisting, occupational therapy assisting, dental assisting and respiratory therapy, among others.
Pima’s Denver location also provides specialized and less commonly offered training in such areas as ophthalmic medical technology and in advanced dental assisting.
Pima students don’t only receive excellent instruction in the classroom, but, as part of their studies, also work at medical facilities located both on and off campus. These externships give students more than just the hands-on experience and training needed to be successful. They also often lead to full-time work after graduation.
In addition, career services provides job placement help, not only for current and graduating students, but for Pima graduates as well.
Its Denver location makes for an exciting student life, with Denver boasting numerous outdoor, athletic and cultural events and activities.
Financial aid is awarded to qualifying students through loans, grants and other sources.
Admission requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a personal interview, submission of an application and a passing score on the Pima entrance exam.
