If you’re searching for a college in Daytona Beach, Florida, Daytona State College may be the place for you. Right off the International Speedway is a campus full of all the learning resources you’ll need to have a great education and head toward your career path.

The school offers seven different bachelor degree programs, all within the fields of education, supervision and management, and engineering technology.

There also certificate program options which will prepare you for the fields of Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Technology, Automotive Repair, Cosmetology, Nails Specialty, Nurse Aid and Orderly, Patient Care Assistance, and Welding Technology.

If this sounds interesting so far but you’re afraid you can’t afford it, don’t worry: the financial aid office has grants, loans, work-study programs, veteran’s services and scholarships available to students who qualify, all of which will help cover the cost of tuition.

Among the on-campus resources are a bookstore, library, computer commons, academic support center and a college writing center. There is also the Southeast Museum of Photography within the campus grounds.

One of the most useful resources on campus is the career service center which hosts job placement services and a virtual career center which will help you start working toward your career goals.
