Description

With more than 100 campuses nationwide, Empire Beauty School is one of the largest cosmetology schools in the country. Since 2000, the Lowell campus has served as Empire’s Boston area location, and offers the same impressive resources as the other schools in its vast network.

In terms of academics, Empire Beauty School Lowell offers one focused Cosmetology program. This course, which takes about a year to complete on average, teaches basic and advanced hairstyling techniques with an emphasis on the latest trends. Moreover, the course covers nail and skin care, expanding your employability options.

The main source of financial aid at Empire Lowell is government grants and loans. However, the school also offers several scholarships to eligible students, including the High School Cosmetology Scholarship and Empire Kids Peace Educational Endowment. Many of these scholarships are based on merit and need, but some have additional criteria.

One of Empire’s strongest features is its partnership with Regis. This puts its students in touch with hundreds of salons throughout the country, increasing your chances of employment. Empire often hosts career fairs with representatives from Regis, so you can build connections and see what kind of job opportunities are available.
