The mission of Platt College is to identify the natural talents of its students and build those talents into strengths that will serve as personal assets in a career oriented society. Question: Platt College?

Has anyone here ever attended Platt College? Its a private College that helps people achive certificates and some programs even offer associate degrees. The programs consist of Medical Assisting, Dential Assisting, Cullianary Arts, Pharmacy, Message Therapy, Surgical Tech... etc. I was thinking of going for the Dental Assistant. If anyone has attended this College or knows anything about it, could you please help me and possibly give me some info on this school? Is it pretty acredible, and are the class sizes big? Thank you!

If this is the school with campus locations in L.A., Huntington Beach, and Ontario, CA, then this statement from their "About Us" page http://www.plattcollege.edu/about_us.php might be what you want to know: "... Platt College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. The College is also approved by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education pursuant to California Education Code Section 94310. ..." ACCSCT Web site: http://www.accsct.org/ U.S. Dept. of Education list of accreditation agencies: http://www.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/accreditation_pg10.html So, the school has accreditation by an agency the U.S. government approves, to accredit institutions for eligibility for Federal student loans. As a vocational/technology school, credits you earn for course work there are not likely to transfer as college credit to other 4 year institutions, but if you are looking for a short program of instruction to prepare you for a specific career in a field, it might be the place for you.

I was wanting to know if anyone has personally attended this college and what their impression is of the college. If anyone has any information about Platt College, p;lease let me know. I have looked at the web address already and it looks great. I am interested in personal experience.
