One of many campus locations across the nation, National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, offers a well-rounded educational program for personal trainers that touches on all aspects of health and wellness.
Also, based in great part on real-world learning, NPTI Lyndhurst gives students the chance to gain substantial professional experience while still in school.
In addition to learning a variety of training and fitness techniques, students at NPTI Lyndhurst go through a series of academic courses in the sciences. They also learn about nutrition and diet as well as other aspects of health and wellness.
Divided in half between school and work, every day is spent first in class and then at the gym or fitness facility, where students get their professional work experience.
As students prepare to graduate, they may receive job placement assistance regardless of whether they plan to stay in New Jersey or relocate to another part of the country.
Admissions require that students must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED and get medical clearance. No special courses or educational background are required. Those who do plan to apply are encouraged to attend one of the school’s open house sessions.
Veteran’s benefits for those who qualify as well as private loans are the two forms of financial aid available. Various tuition payment plans may also be arranged.
